We are looking for aCommercial Banking Relationship Manager in San Francisco, Walnut Creek, San Jose, CA. This role focuses on generating and servicing a wide variety of commercial loans and developing strong, low risk commercial relationships.ย 

Essential Functions:ย 

  • Responsible for generating and servicing a wide variety of commercial loans and developing strong, low risk commercial relationships while maintaining quality customer service.ย ย 
  • Acts as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients.ย ย 
  • Develops, generates and follows-up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments.ย ย 
  • Calls on existing relationships to review portfolios and makes recommendations as needed.ย ย 
  • Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing and perceptive character judgment.ย ย 
  • Responsible for monitoring credit performance.ย ย 
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships, with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction.ย ย 
  • Cross sell other bank products.ย ย 
  • Aggressively seeks and obtains quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross selling efforts.ย ย 
  • Requires skills and experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment, loan structuring, credit analysis, and monitoring credit performance.ย ย 
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships, with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction.ย ย 
  • Other duties as assigned.ย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • Requires a Bachelor's and must have at least 4-8 years' experience with commercial or credit associated lending, credit, underwriting experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.ย ย 
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes.ย ย 
  • Ability to expand commercial loans, client relationships and cross-sell bank products.ย 
  • Requires strong sales ability.ย ย 
  • Solid experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills.ย ย 
  • Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.ย ย 
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.ย ย 
  • Working knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.ย ย 
  • Manages a medium commercial portfolio.ย
