This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while involving occasional interactions within an outpatient office environment as needed. You will collaborate closely with team members through digital platforms, ensuring effective communication and coordination. • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and interviews to gather vital psycho-social information from clients, families, and relevant stakeholders.
• Utilize the mental health recovery model, integrating its principles into your clinical practice to empower clients through their journey to recovery.
• Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment and crisis plans in collaboration with clients, encouraging a strengths-based approach.
• Engage in therapeutic interventions, providing support through group therapy sessions, individual counseling, and family therapy as appropriate.
• Work closely with medical professionals and other clinicians to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.
• Document patient progress meticulously, create treatment plans, and update goals regularly to track improvements and adjustments in care.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals struggling with addiction and associated mental health issues, including children and adolescents. Your expertise will enable you to provide critical support to affected families, ensuring that each session is tailored to respect the diverse backgrounds and needs of our clients. Through compassionate care and evidence-based practices, you will play a significant role in fostering positive outcomes and resilience in those we serve.

• A Master's degree in mental health counseling with an active LMHC license is required.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Mental Health Counselor, preferably with a focus on diverse populations, including children and adolescents.
• A solid understanding of various counseling techniques, specifically in grief counseling and addiction recovery strategies.

• Experience working within interdisciplinary teams and familiarity with treatment planning processes.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software for managing patient documentation and progress tracking.
