Call Center Representative / Call Center / Per DiemProvides personal care and professional excellence by operation of the main hospital telephone console system, the in-house paging system, monitoring the alarm panels, and monitoring other 24-hour department needs such as keys.

Job Duties

  • Operate the switchboard with courtesy and professionalism. Answer and direct telephone calls in a polite and informative manner.
  • Take and relays messages.
  • Page individuals to inform them of telephone calls, using paging and interoffice communication equipment.
  • Make general overhead announcements.
  • Responsible for overhead/beeper paging of emergency calls (Stats and Codes).
  • Assists patients in making telephone calls, local, person to person calls and long distance.
  • Assists callers with other questions.
  • Other duties as assigned
