Academy of Art University is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer that has preferably worked within higher education. This position is ideal for someone experienced with Oracle SFP (Student Financial Planning) that can work well within remote team environment, handling several projects at a time.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in analysis, design, testing, documentation, modification and implementation of Academy of Art University's enterprise-wide PeopleSoft applications
  • Determine business and reporting requirements, working with the end-user community, and translate into technical specifications for development
  • Provide Oracle SFP SaaS application production support
  • Develop, test, and document PeopleSoft upgrades, customizations, enhancements, and reports
  • Provide pre- and post-PeopleSoft upgrade technical evaluation and support
  • Provide PeopleSoft application production support
  • Evaluate, advise and implement best practices in the integration and exchange of data between PeopleSoft and other Academy of Art University systems including but not limited to Bright Space LMS and Salesforce
  • Train end-users and technical staff as needed
  • Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, engineering or related field required
  • Minimum of six years of PeopleSoft technical and functional experience
  • Proven ability to integrate data between enterprise systems. Prior experience with the integration of PeopleSoft and Salesforce systems and web services preferred
  • Experience supporting Oracle SFP (Student Financial Planning)
  • Effective problem solver and troubleshooter
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Development tools and reporting tools: PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Workflow, Security, Application Engine, PS/Query, nVision, Crystal, SQR, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft applications 9.X. Prior experience within Student Administration and/or Finance, preferred
  • Technical skills include SQL and other relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Compensation:

$110,000 - $135,000 annually Compensation based on experience and location
