As the People Operations Generalist, you'll be a hands-on member of CW's People Operations team, touching every corner of the function. This is a real HR role for someone early in their career who and is ready to do meaningful work from day one, not just support it. At the core of this role is a commitment to accuracy, organization, and being genuinely present for the people around you, whether that means cleaning up and maintaining employee records, handling data with care and precision, or simply being the person employees feel comfortable turning to with a question. You'll own work across recruiting coordination, onboarding, benefits, employee experience, and HR administration. If you're naturally organized, genuinely curious about HR, and excited to grow into a well-rounded People Operations professional, this is the role for you.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Be a utility player on the People Operations team supporting across the company and business lines providing top notch internal customer service
  • Partner with Compensation and Benefits Manager to audit and clean up employee files, records, org charts, and databases; standardize HR templates, forms, and shared drives.
  • Manage data entry and reporting tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Serve as an accessible, approachable resource for employees on HR questions, People Operations processes, and general workplace matters - knowing when to handle independently and when to escalate.
  • Own the Head of People's calendar and provide full executive scheduling support, coordinating meetings and preparing materials.
  • Schedule and coordinate all interviews across departments and own candidate communication for a smooth, professional experience.
  • Post open roles, maintain the ATS and candidate pipelines, and help prepare offer letters and onboarding materials.
  • Coordinate new hire paperwork, I-9 verification, system setup, and first-day logistics with IT and relevant teams.
  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact for new employees, supporting their experience from offer acceptance through early integration and ensuring they feel informed and set up for success.
  • Provide employee-facing support during open enrollment, helping employees understand their options and elect correctly, routing complex questions to the appropriate people.
  • Assist with enrollment logistics, communications, follow-up, and day-to-day benefits administration.
  • Support coordination of company events, recognition programs, and team activities, managing logistics like vendors, invites, and materials.
  • Assist with employee communications and internal updates as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Genuine interest in HR and People Operations – someone who wants to build a career in this space, not just fill a role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills: you notice when things are out of order and you fix them.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; professional, warm, and clear, with the ability to interact comfortably with employees at all levels.
  • Comfortable with detail-heavy work without losing accuracy or focus; able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Discreet and trustworthy – you'll handle sensitive employee information with professionalism from day one.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude; willing to jump in wherever needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; picks up new systems quickly. Experience with ADP, an ATS, or HRIS is a plus.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience; strong internships, work-study, or campus leadership are welcome.

The base salary range for this role is provided in accordance with local regulations, but salary represents just one component of the total compensation package. Additional elements such as bonuses, overtime, deferred cash (where applicable), benefits, perks, and company contributions to 401(k) plans – often result in total compensation significantly exceeding the base salary. Compensation is influenced by individual performance, tenure, experience, geographic location, business unit needs, company performance, and market conditions.
