Job description

As the People Analytics Manager, you will empower Gong's Leadership Team and broader People function to make confident, data-driven business decisions. You will bring analytical rigor, product thinking, and storytelling craft to transform complex workforce data into clear narratives and actionable strategies. You will also help shape how the team responsibly adopts AI and machine learning to scale analytical capabilities, automate workflows, and unlock deeper workforce insights, all in service of helping #CreateRavingFans of Gong employees. This role will report to the Director of People Analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with key stakeholders to shape and execute a strategic People Analytics roadmap aligned with business priorities
  • Translate stakeholder needs into analytical products including dashboards, self-serve reporting tools, and workforce planning models
  • Deliver insights through compelling data narratives tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
  • Analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to surface actionable insights that drive people team initiatives and business decisions
  • Collaborate with People Ops and Systems teams to resolve data quality gaps and maintain robust data governance within the data ecosystem
  • Balance strategic initiatives with responsive stakeholder support, managing competing priorities effectively
  • Stay current on industry best practices, trends, and emerging tools in people analytics
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in People Analytics
  • Proven ability to build analytical products such as dashboards, reporting tools, and data solutions that stakeholders trust and actively use
  • Proficiency in tools such as dbt, Snowflake, and Python/R
  • Experience leveraging data from HR tools like Workday, CultureAmp, Greenhouse, or LMS platforms
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate data insights across all organizational levels
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and their application to workforce analytics
  • Solid understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $115,000 - $175,000 USD. 

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
