About the Team
The People Analytics and Data Solutions team is a centralized team responsible for harnessing data-driven insights to inform and enhance our people strategies across the organization. We work closely with business leaders and HR to deliver reliable data solutions that support a variety of needs across the organization. We focus on identifying trends, translating complex data, and providing actionable recommendations through clear data insights and visualizations.
Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated and curious People Analytics Intern to join our dynamic team at a leading asset management firm. As a member of our People Analytics group, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful survey research projects and contribute to organizational insights that shape our people strategy.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist in designing, conducting, and analyzing employee survey research to support talent initiatives.
- Leverage Python for data collection, processing, and analysis to uncover actionable insights.
- Interpret and visualize data to communicate findings effectively and tell compelling data stories.
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and deliver recommendations to stakeholders.
- Independently research best practices and utilize available resources to address analytical challenges.
- Pilot the use of artificial intelligence tools to drive efficiency in survey and sentiment analysis, exploring innovative approaches to enhance organizational insights.
- Experiment with AI tools (e.g., Copilot and our TRP internal tool) to automate report generation, summarize insights, and create executive-ready narratives.
- Participate in team meetings and learn about the function of People Analytics within an asset management context.
- Develop process documentation and reusable scripts that streamline future analysis and automation initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
- Full time student pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 - May/June 2028.
Preferred:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in a quantitative, social science, or related field (e.g., Data Science, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field).
- Coursework or experience in statistics, regression analysis, machine learning, natural language processing or artificial intelligence.
- Experience with Python or another programming language for data analysis (coursework, projects, or research).
- Strong curiosity and drive to learn about people-related data, analytics, and AI tools.
- Ability to independently work through complex problems by leveraging available resources.
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for telling stories with data.
- Interest in asset management and organizational dynamics is a plus.
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
