Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Pentagon Advisor to support a high-visibility National Security contract in Arlington, VA (100% onsite). The Senior Pentagon Advisor will bring strong experience in DoD staff coordination, executive-level communication, & program operations. The Senior Pentagon Advisor will support highly sensitive Pentagon & intelligence initiatives focused on information warfare, strategic influence, & operational coordination. Responsibilities of the Senior Pentagon Advisor include: * Serve as a senior advisor supporting leadership on influence, deception, & perception management * Assist in the development & implementation of comprehensive strategies aligned with DOD objectives, operational [priorities, & national security policies * Develop, review, & coordinate staff packages & time sensitive actions supporting classified influence & deception-related initiatives * Support governance, staff assistance visits, compliance reviews & operational assessments to ensure alignment with DOD guidance & best practices * Oversee programmatic activities, resource coordination, deliverables, timelines, & operational priorities across sensitive programs * Coordinate across DOD organizations, intelligence community stakeholders, senior military leadership & executive agencies * Prepare reports, executive summaries, briefings, talking points, & decision support materials for Senior Executive Branch officials & congressional stakeholders * Maintain action item trackers, suspense items, operational updates, risk assessments, & program documentation * Assist in drafting, reviewing & refining policies, guidance, procedures, & strategic communications related to influence & information operations * Support adherence to DOD policies, security protocols, federal regulations, & operational guidance governing sensitive activities * Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiencies, & enhanced coordination in a high-tempo classified environment * Effectively communicate operational priorities, mission impacts, & program outcomes to senior leadership & stakeholders Qualifications of the Senior Pentagon Advisor include: * 15+ years of experience supporting influence operations, information operations, deception planning, perception management, or related activities within the DOD or IC * Proven experience supporting senior-level policy development, program oversight, strategic planning, or operational coordination efforts * Strong understanding of DOD staff operations, executive coordination processes, and national security organizational structures * Experience supporting highly sensitive or classified programs within the Pentagon, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or Intelligence Community environments * Demonstrated expertise in influence, deception, information operations, strategic communications, or related mission areas * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills supporting senior military officers, SES leadership, & executive stakeholders * Experience preparing executive briefings, reports, strategic communications, & Congressional support materials * Strong analytical, organizational, & problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment * Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and operate effectively in a mission-driven, high-visibility environment * Active TS/SCI clearance required * Master's degree required * Experience supporting OUSD(I&S), Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community organizations, or other National Security entities is highly preferred * Strong attention to detail and ability to handle highly sensitive information with discretion and professionalism * Compensation for the Senior Pentagon Advisor includes: * Salary Range: $150,000-163,000 **depending on experience** * Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Plan, Holidays, PTO, sick leave as required by law * words: Information Operations, IO, Influence Operations, Influence Activities, Deception Operations, Perception Management, Strategic Communications, Psychological Operations, PSYOP, MISO, National Security, Pentagon, Arlington, VA, Virginia, DoD, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, IC, OUSD(I&S), Sensitive Activities, Special Programs, classified, TS/SCI, TS SCI, staff officer, action officer, policy, governance, oversight, operational planning, strategic planning, executive communications, executive briefing, briefing, executive summary, reporting, Congress, Senior Executive Service, SES, military leadership, stakeholder coordination, cross-functional coordination, governance review, compliance inspection, operational assessment, program oversight, resource coordination, operational support, staff coordination, risk assessment, strategic objectives, operational outcomes, mission support, federal, defense, intelligence, program management, communication, leadership, operational execution, classified environment, security protocol, program documentation, tracker, suspense item, process improvement, national defense, mission-driven, senior advisor, operations, activities, investments, guidance, procedures, decision-making, support services, policy development, capabilities development, resourcing, executive support, strategic initiatives, defense operations, intelligence operation * * #LI-SW1 #LI-ONSITE
