Opportunity:

Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech

Job Details:

• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required: 8-10 call shifts per month including weekend coverage
• 2 Cath Lab rooms
• Perform pediatric and adult transplant procedures including right/left heart biopsy, balloon, stent, and valve placement
• May also perform interventional radiology procedures, preferably pediatric
• Experience with congenital heart patients required
• Perform diagnostic catheterizations for both adult and pediatric/neonatal patients
• Perform percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and cardiac stent placement
• Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred; EP experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), and either CCI with RCIS/RCES (preferred) or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Charting system: EPIC
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission
• Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November, with peak activity in August and September)
