Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join the cardiovascular services team at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, California. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a highly advanced academic medical center, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist will assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and other interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety, equipment readiness, and procedural efficiency. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $165,000 to $206,000 annually based on experience and the opportunity to work alongside some of the nation's leading cardiovascular specialists.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related healthcare field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Radiologic Technologist experience in one or more of the following settings:
    • Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
    • Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory
    • Interventional Radiology Laboratory
    • Operating Room (OR) / Hybrid OR Environment
  • California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • California State Fluoroscopy Permit.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation requirements.
  • Flexibility to rotate shifts, weekends, holidays, and provide coverage across multiple UCSF Medical Center locations.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally between UCSF facilities as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, or Interventional Radiology environment.
  • Experience supporting complex cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Strong technical, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
  • Experience working in a large academic medical center or hospital-based cardiovascular program.
