Job description

Pediatric Cath Lab Technician

Location: Florida

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Cath Lab Technician with extensive direct pediatric experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to pediatric patients within the cath lab environment, focusing on procedures such as ASD closures, cardiac stent placements, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist in various pediatric cardiac procedures.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs accurately during interventions.
  • Maintain sterile environments and perform scrub duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
  • Document all care and procedures performed accurately in Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct pediatric cath lab experience is required.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
  • Experience with special equipment preferred, such as Xper Hemodynamic Monitoring System.
  • Must be able to work on-call as needed.
  • Florida state licensure or a compact license required at the time of submission.
