Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Specialist / Cath Lab Tech to assist with pediatric and adult congenital cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, requiring ARRT certification and OH licensure.

Details
  • Cardiac catheterization lab supporting newborns, children, and adults with congenital heart disease
  • Assist interventional cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, EP studies, and RF ablations
  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor procedures including invasive cardiac waveform and pressure gradient monitoring
  • Communicate patient vital signs and EKG data during procedures
  • Responsible for equipment troubleshooting and maintaining supply par levels
  • Day shift schedule, 4x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • 13-week assignment length
  • All travelers will float to competent units
  • EPIC charting experience preferred but not required
Requirements
  • Graduate of a radiologic technology program required
  • ARRT Radiography registry required
  • OH license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS and PALS certification required or ability to obtain within one year
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience required, 3 years preferred
  • BSN required for consideration due to Magnet facility status
  • Experience with pediatric/adult congenital cardiac cases preferred
  • Sterile technique experience preferred
  • Healthcare experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software required
Additional Information
  • Role involves close collaboration with interventional cardiologists and cardiac care teams across all levels of the organization
  • Facility will consider prior employees to return as travelers as long as they are not currently active employees
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate
  • Facility maintains a strict do-not-call policy
