CONDITIONS
Position Overview
About the position: Peak's CDL driver operates heavy trucks and equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols. The driver collaborates closely with field teams to effectively manage water supply, transfer and /or disposal, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Essential Functions
  • Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
  • Loads and unloads truck as required.
  • Ensures the truck and driver are compliant with all DOT requirements.
  • Maintains driver qualification records, time and driving records.
  • Operates the truck in a safe manner following all Peak's driving policies.
  • Possess a CDL license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Peak's insurance guidelines.
  • May require additional endorsements such as the below:
    • Hazmat
    • Tanker

Work Experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related working experience is required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
  • Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to individually lift: Maximum 50 lbs
  • Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment physical.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Reports to Manager, Trucking.
  • This position is classified as safety-sensitive and, like all roles within our organization, requires strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. A strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment is essential, and this role may be subject to regular safety training and assessments.
