Job description

The Laundry Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our linen inventory. This position is responsible for inspecting, processing and preparing linens for upcoming rentals using industrial laundry equipment. Attention to detail, pride in cleanliness and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming linens for damage, stains or missing items upon return from events.
  • Sort linens by type, size and color before laundering
  • Operate commercial washers, dryers and pressing equipment according to company procedures and safety standards.
  • Fold, hang and pack clean linens for upcoming orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility.
  • Track damaged or stained linens and report issues to manager.
  • Assist with inventory management and quality control.
  • Follow safety procedures when handling machinery and cleaning agents.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial laundry, hospitality or a similar environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
     Familiarity with industrial laundry equipment is a plus.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
