What you will do
  • Operate and program CMM equipment to inspect parts and assemblies.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD to build accurate measurement plans.
  • Execute first article, in-process, and final inspections to keep work on-spec from start to finish.
  • Document and report inspection outcomes, including non-conformances, with actionable detail.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools alongside CMM results.
  • Partner with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues quickly.
  • Keep meticulous inspection records and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
What you bring
  • 2+ years as a CMM Inspector in a CNC machining environment.
  • Proficiency with PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso, or similar CMM software.
  • Solid command of GD&T and measurement best practices.
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong problem-solving instincts.
  • Comfort reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
