Job description

As a CMM Engineer, you will generate, maintain, and verify CMM programs using PC-DMIS. You will program parts following standards and documented Product Quality Plans, manipulate models using Siemens NX 2206/2412 to support CMM programming needs, and validate results.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, maintain, and verify CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS.
  • Program parts following standards and documented Product Quality Plans.
  • Manipulate models using Siemens NX 2206/2412 as needed to support CMM programming needs.
  • Prove out CMM programs and validate results.
  • Setup, configure, and prove out machine hardware and software as needed.
  • Provide CMM related support to Manufacturing Engineers and offer operator training.
  • Provide daily operator support and problem-solving to the shop.
  • Initiate and lead process improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost related to CMM processes.
  • Generate and support workstation instructions for CMM related issues.
  • Communicate effectively with appropriate team members.
  • Work both individually and in a team-based environment within a matrixed organization.
  • Adapt and drive positive change in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in CMM program and machine operations.
  • Strong knowledge of PC-DMIS and SOP.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machines.
  • Familiarity with Product Quality Plans.
  • Experience with Siemens NX and CAD software.
  • Minimum 3+ years of off-line PC-DMIS programming experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

This is a Contract position based out of Greenville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $46.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
