Responsibilities
The PBX Operator answers the switchboard, directs callers and pagers overhead as needed. The PBX operator monitors the Hospital alarms and must be aware of the policy and procedures of all hospital emergency codes. Ability to communicate with population served from neonatal, pediatrics, adolescence young adults and middle adults to geriatrics.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Previous PBX experience preferred.
2. Previous experience in receptionist work preferred.

Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $25.70 to $25.70. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
