Job Description:
At Gorbel, payroll is more than processing paychecks. It's about ensuring employees are paid accurately, benefits are administered seamlessly, and compliance is maintained across a growing organization. We're looking for a payroll analyst who thrives on accuracy, enjoys solving complex challenges, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for US employees across three companies in Workday.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for Canadian employees in ADP Teams Pay Canada.
  • Responsible for payroll invoices and all tax reporting in ADP Smart Compliance.
  • Manage payroll taxes, garnishments, quarterly and year end reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as the Workday payroll subject matter expert, maintaining payroll configurations tax settings and integrations.
  • Ensure accurate processing of benefits, leave of absences, disability payments and retirement contributions.
  • Prepare payroll reports, perform reconciliations, and support audits.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR and external partners to continuous improve payroll processes and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll processing
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, benefits administration and compliance.
  • Experience with Workday payroll and ADP Smart Compliance preferred.
  • Proficient in O365 suite of products including Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with ERP preferred.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Gorbel, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
