Location: Birmingham, AL. This position is 100% On-site at the office.

The Payroll Manager will own the payroll process end-to-end and handle everything in between. Manage and oversee all payroll cycles, ensuring timely, accurate wage payments. Administer court-ordered and statutory payroll deductions and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Maintain compliance with Wage and Hour laws, tax requirements, and reporting deadlines. Reconcile payroll to job costing and GL accounts. Work closely with accounting and finance teams on payroll-related entries and corrections. Work with field operations, HR, and finance to resolve payroll issues and improve processes. Serve as a resource for payroll questions and escalations.


Strong background in Payroll! Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or related field. Must be able to manage sensitive information with discretion and take pride in delivering precise and reliable payroll outcomes. MS Office, Strong Excel! Deltek-ComputerEase, or similar payroll systems. Payroll Certification (CPP, FPC, or equivalent) preferred. Background in construction or project-based environments a plus!


Normal Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00. Criminial/Drug testing.
