In this essential role; the Payroll Coordinator is responsible for accurate payroll processing, timely collection of hours from clients, and resolving discrepancies. This role involves building strong client relationships and delivering excellent customer service while managing employee records. The ideal candidate will cultivate strong relationships with client contacts, provide exceptional customer service, support payroll administrative functions, and demonstrate attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • $26 (or more) plus overtime, based on experience.

  • Our offices are open Monday to Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect hours from clients weekly to ensure smooth payroll processing.
  • Enter direct deposits and garnishments for payroll.
  • Foster strong connections with clients to receive the necessary payroll information promptly.
  • Address issues between clients and employees regarding hours, pay, and other payroll concerns.
  • Send payroll requests to the Accurate Payroll department by Tuesday at 2 PM.
  • Generate and upload client-specific timesheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records by pulling and uploading time clock reports.
  • Address associates' payroll inquiries with professionalism.
  • Review time entry reports on Mondays and Thursdays for payroll accuracy.
  • Check holiday reporting for compliance with company policies.
  • Proofread all communications, using proper email etiquette when interacting with clients and colleagues
  • Offer friendly customer service by answering calls.
  • Attend meetings punctually and prepared, supporting the team and stakeholders in achieving company objectives.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • 1+ years in payroll experience or a related field, with a solid understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and Google Suite.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies.
