Job description

  • Responsible & fully accountable for the payroll and timekeeping services of multiple clients
  • Responsible for implementation and training of new clients and employees on company's workforce system
  • Responsible for payroll tax services to include applying for new state accounts, tax payments, tax filings, and tax reconciliations
  • Prepare client payroll and tax reporting packages
  • Prepare ACH files for client payroll debits and employees' direct deposits
  • Evaluate workforce management system changes required for clients and implement and test required changes
  • Responsible for scheduling and running the assigned client payrolls by following standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and timely client and employee records based on real time requests
  • Maintain complete and accurate client profile notes as well as processing instructions for each client
  • Respond to & resolve all incoming telephone calls and/or email inquiries from clients and/or their employees; delivering the highest level of customer service within expected timelines
  • Plan, organize & facilitate regular conference calls and/or attend client visits; execute on client requests; create and maintain action plan &/or issue log until resolution is attained. Prepare internal and external reports as required.
  • Create & manage client communication & their requests.
  • Utilize all internal tools & defined processes to ensure optimal productivity, service excellence and make recommendations for best practices to customers
  • Conduct an annual review of clients payroll set up and processes to identify deficiencies within existing procedures and/or configuration; recommend and implement enhancements to drive productivity, efficiencies, service excellence & full payroll compliance
  • Maintain CPP designation & attend all required departmental training sessions as well demonstrate proficiency in learning.
  • Consistently look for automation opportunities to maximize operational efficiency
  • Work with HR partner to coordinate HR, payroll, and timekeeping services
