Job Summary: Responsible for the overall administration of the department(s) to assure excellent internal and external guest service. Administrative duties include coordination of onboarding and offboarding processes, payroll management in Workday, Kronos and Flaik, instructor profile set-up and maintenance within all systems, support to supervisors and managers on daily operations, and more.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Hourly:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Base hourly pay range: $24.00 - 36.11 per hour

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for the overall payroll accuracy of the department; including initial instructor set-up in different systems, management of missed or inaccurate punches, tracking of instructor's activities, incentives and training hours, retro pay, etc.

  • Support Managers with hiring, training, performance, and review process, while remaining current with Human Resources, Payroll and Health & Safety best practices and processing deadlines.

  • Provide quality service in a friendly, responsive, and positive manner to instructors, managers, and guests.

  • Runs daily, weekly, monthly, and annual business reports to assist management.

  • Assists new staff with understanding of benefits, job requirements, pay, employee housing, and policies and procedures. Facilitates resolution of any disputes with HR and Payroll.

  • Prepare and submit expense reports for instructor certification reimbursement and other expense.

  • Perform daily Mountain Sports School sales through RTP POS when needed. Provide high quality guest service, handle customer complaints, and ensure accurate sales.

  • Assist with administration of multi-day programs and specialty camps.

  • Assist the Mountain Sports School Director and Management as necessary in a variety of duties including but not limited to: guest reservations, private reservations, outdoor operations, indoor operations, lesson organization, shoveling, cleaning facilities, rental shop sales, etc

  • Provides support and assistance to other administrative staff. Is a source of knowledge and expertise.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 30% or more of a normal 8-hour work shift. Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will frequently be exposed to extreme cold, wetness and/or humidity, and occasionally blizzards and extreme storm conditions.

Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate. Storm days there may be explosions due to avalanche control.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.

  • Past Administrative experience required, payroll experience preferred.

  • Guest service experience required.

  • Microsoft Office skills required.
