Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director, FX Payment SolutionsSpecialistto join the FX Payment Solutions team withinthe Markets division of theCorporate & Investment Bank.FX and global payments are central to how our clients fund, settle, and grow their international operations, and this role sits at the intersection of productexpertise, client engagement, and revenue generation.

As an FX Payment Solutions Specialist, you will be a client-facing subject matter expert in cross-border and FX payment solutions, responsible for designing and delivering complex payment solutions for strategic client relationships.You will partner with FX Markets Coverage, Corporate Banking, and Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) Sales teamsto originate, structure, and win cross-currency business, and you will carry direct accountability for growing FX payment volumes and revenues across new and existing clients.

This is a seniorsolutionssales role, responsible for FX Payments growththrough key clientrelationships. You willownopportunities end to end, from target identification through mandate win and revenue recognition, while serving as the firm's authority on FX Payment Solutions and cross-border payment mechanics in every client conversation you join.


In this role, you will:

  • Partner with FX Markets Coverage, Banking Coverage, and Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) Sales Consultants to deliver payment solutions to clients with cross-border payment, cross-currency, and international cash management needs.

  • Serve as direct client coverage forFXpayment-focusedopportunitiesacrossCIBsegments, building strong clientrelationships

  • Provide technicalexpertiseto clients and internal partners across an array of payment products, with responsibility for growing FX payment volumes and revenues across new and existing clients

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for FX payment opportunities, including origination, discovery, solution design, positioning, RFP responses, negotiation, mandate execution, and revenue realization, supported by disciplined pipeline management.

  • Drive the identification of target clients and prepare materials for presentation to clients and internal partners, in partnership with coverage teams

  • Direct clients to theoptimalsolution to meet their foreign exchange needs, applying a strong understanding of system features and system deployment across FX payment and derivative products

  • Design and configure complex cross-border solutions, including multi-currency pricing, non-USD settlement, online portals, host-to-host connectivity, and API-enabled payment flowsmapped to specific client workflows and use cases

  • Lead client presentations, workshops, webinars, and pre-sales activities, and develop segment-specific value propositions and proposals that support marketing and go-to-market efforts

  • Drive internal sales efforts with business leadership and Global Payments & Liquidity team members, and lead internal training and seminars to ensure successful deployment of payment solutions to internal and external clients with international cash management and currency hedging needs

  • Conduct portfolio reviews withFX Markets coverage,GPL,bankingand payments stakeholders, measuring progress against identified opportunities and regional growth objectives

  • Share direct client feedback with product management teams and collaborate across payment solutions verticals to improve the platform and business processes

  • Drive understanding of transactional data,identifytrends, andinitiateinternal conversations that surface internal and external sales opportunities in support of growing the payments business

  • Mentorless-experiencedteam membersand contribute to building the technical depth of the broader FX Payment Solutions team


Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical/product sales, product support, or a combination of both; in capital markets, investment banking, treasury banking, or foreign exchange


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of transaction banking, FX payments, cross-border payments, and digital delivery channels, including APIs and host-to-host connectivity

  • Demonstrated experience structuring and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from origination through mandate win and revenue realization

  • Strong understanding of corporate treasury workflow and the operational aspects of doing business globally

  • Proven ability to work against direct portfolio growth targets in a competitive environment

  • International or corridor-specificexpertise(EMEA, Asia-Pacific, Latin America), including familiarity with regional regulatory developments, market practice, and local-currency requirements

  • Well-versed in FX paymentproductsandsolutions, with working knowledge of hedging conceptsadjacent topayment flows

  • Experience developingclear,go-to-market strategies and executing against measurable penetration or wallet-share goals

  • Exceptional writing, verbal, and executive communication skills, with strong client-facing and presentation capability

  • Ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with key internal partners across Sales, Product Management, Client Service, Coverage, Markets, and Banking

  • Experience mentoring or developing less-experienced team members

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Ability to travel 25% to 50% of the time.
