Job description

Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is looking to add to our Receptionist Team. Compass Park is a vast 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County adjacent to Indianapolis. It is a vibrant community through all seasons and a place of beauty, rich in tall trees and winding footpaths. This job is in Franklin, IN.

Receptionist:

  • Greet visitors, answer telephone messages and calls in a professional and efficient manner. 
  • Submits faxes to the correct staff members.
  • Keeps up with Directory spreadsheets.
  • Assist with Screening of Guests and employees.
  • Distributes resident and employee mail.
  • Enters Maintenance requests in work order system.
  • Update Spreadsheet of Residents that are out of town.
  • Creates and distributes flyers and keeps sign boards updated.
  • Informs ALL when our fire alarms are offline and back online (AADCO)
  • Organizes and makes sure the receptionist area is clean.

Receptionist Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of college or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior secretarial or administrative experience required.
  • Good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Basic clerical skills including typing, faxing, coping, and mailing.
