To excel as a Pay Per Chart Medical Coder, you need a thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding guidelines, often supported by completion of a coding certification such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent. Expertise in using coding software, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and medical billing platforms is typically required.
