What You'll Do:

As our Patient Scheduling Coordinator, you'll be the friendly, organized voice patients count on to get where they need to be. You'll manage appointment calendars, coordinate with our clinical team, and make sure every patient's scheduling experience is fast, easy, and stress-free.

  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments with accuracy and care
  • Keep provider calendars running smoothly — minimizing gaps and wait times
  • Respond to patient calls and emails promptly and warmly
  • Send appointment reminders and follow up on missed visits to keep patients on track
  • Partner with clinical staff to match patient needs with provider availability
  • Keep patient records accurate, complete, and compliant
  • Be a champion for every patient's healthcare journey

What You'll Bring:

  • A high school diploma (required)
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help people
  • Comfort juggling multiple calendars, priorities, and deadlines
  • Tech-savvy mindset — experience with Salesforce, RingCentral, Microsoft Office, or TEAMS is a plus
  • DME, medical device, or medical office scheduling experience is a bonus — but not required. New grads welcome!

Location, Pay & Schedule:

This full-time position pays $20–$24/hour and is based onsite at Children's Hospital of Michigan – Sleep Lab, 3901 Beaubien Blvd., Suite 3L01, Detroit, MI 48201. Hours are Monday–Friday, varying between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST.
