Job description

Under the direction of the Patient Access Supervisor and Manager, the Team Lead provides daily operational leadership for the Patient Access department. The Team Lead supports staff, ensures efficient patient flow, promotes data integrity, monitors departmental performance, provides real-time coaching, and serves as the primary resource for registration processes, regulatory compliance, and customer service while maintaining productivity standards.
 

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Post High School Education in Business or Healthcare preferred or equivalent experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two or more years prior related experience in hospital/medical patient access environment.
  • A minimum typing speed of 30 wpm with accurate data entry skills.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Meditech experience a plus..
