JOB FUNCTION:

Handles all customer inquiries/orders received by telephone, fax, e-mail, and in person on occasion.


Requirements:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Customer Service & Order Management: Receive and process customer inquiries and orders via phone, email, fax, and in person. Enter orders accurately into the Epicor ERP system.
  2. Order Processing & Fulfillment Coordination: Enter customer orders in the ERP system and coordinate with shipping to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  3. Returns & Credit Support: Process customer returns and evaluate credit/no-credit recommendations for Supervisor approval in accordance with company policies.
  4. Customer Relationship Support: Maintain strong customer relationships by providing responsive service and resolving inquiries or concerns in a timely manner.
  5. ERP & Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate customer records and order information in the Epicor ERP system to ensure data integrity.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with shipping, sales, and internal departments to support efficient order processing and issue resolution.
  7. Bilingual Customer Support: Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus to support communication with Latin American customers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None


QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Associate degree in Business or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

2. High school diploma or equivalent required, along with customer service experience.

3. One to two years of customer service experience in a fast-paced or high-volume environment preferred.

4. Strong computer skills and written communication abilities required.

5. Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor, is a plus.

6. Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions, including process workflows and visual aids.

7. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, including accurate data entry, order processing, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time at the computer station while typing and operating computer system software. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms and lift up to 50 pounds.
