PARTS BY COCHRAN IS LOOKING FOR AN OPERATIONS SPECIALIST TO JOIN THEIR TEAM!


The Parts Operations Specialist is responsible for managing daily parts operations, including invoice reconciliation, parts ordering, returns processing, obsolescence purchasing, and supporting management with additional tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.



Duties:

Invoice Reconciliation

o Review and reconcile parts invoices to ensure pricing, quantities, and terms are accurate

o Identify discrepancies and work with vendors or internal teams to resolve issues promptly

o Maintain accurate records of all invoices and adjustments

ยท Parts Ordering

o Place daily stock and special orders with vendors based on demand and inventory needs

o Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of parts

o Maintain proper inventory levels to support wholesale and retail operations

ยท Parts Returns

o Process returns to vendors in accordance with return policies and timeliness

o Track return credits and ensure proper posting to accounts

o Package and ship parts returns efficiently and accurately

ยท Obsolescence

o Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory

o Develop strategies to reduce aged inventory through returns, discounts, or special buys

ยท General Support

o Assist upper management with special projects and daily operational needs

o Maintain an organized and cleanliness parts area

o Support team members to ensure smooth department operations

o Any other duties assigned by the Wholesale Parts Director
