Gaming Partnership Manager
Description -
Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing active global (gaming) partnerships as well as developing and executing future partnership plans. Working closely with stakeholders in both the global Personal Systems Consumer & Gaming Marketing team as well as all HP's regional teams is essential, both to streamline the execution of partnerships plans and to report on those plans to HP stakeholders and partners. Experience in and strong familiarity with the consumer technology, hardware, and gaming industry as well as the key players within them, will enable this role to identify and engage with the right partners at the right time based on HP's strategy and objectives.
The (Gaming) Partnership Manager will join the Worldwide (Gaming) Partnerships Team and will report to the Head of Gaming Partnerships.
Responsibilities
  • Owns the end-to-end management of current and future long-term global (gaming) partnerships, aligning internal and external stakeholders to maximize impact against HP's business objectives.
  • Manages the development and execution of global (gaming) partnerships by working closely with global and regional stakeholders on the creation, delivery, and reporting of partnership elements.
  • Nurtures HP's existing partner relationships, identifying the most impactful projects that drive business growth and enhance brand presence for HP while also creating value for the partner.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and onboards new partners who align with HP's objectives and drives the development of partnership proposals.
  • Monitors partnership performance by collecting relevant data, results, and feedback to judge the impact of past and potential future partnerships, as well as to optimize current collaborations.
  • Leads the creation of impactful reports for HP stakeholders and active partners based on both HP's KPI's and the contractual obligations to the partner.
  • Manages select marketing expenditure, partner funding, and forecasting, and ensures adherence to the set budget.
  • Meets regularly with HP stakeholders to share progress on active and potential partnerships to align with HP's business objectives.
  • Follows industry trends, competitor activities, and partner activations to identify new partnership opportunities.

Knowledge and Skill
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in partnerships, marketing, and/or communications, preferably in the consumer technology, hardware, or gaming industry.
  • Strong familiarity with the gaming industry, including key publishers, developers, game intellectual property, and the current esports landscape.
  • Experience with global partnership marketing, including co-marketing activations, product seeding, and campaign execution across digital, social, retail, and events, and a clear understanding of commercial partnership structures, contract fundamentals, and partnership measurement methodologies.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, timelines, approvals, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience with budget management, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
