DSP Partnership Manager

ODK Media

Irvine, CA • On-site

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement, PTO

Re-posted yesterday

Job description

ODK Media is building its own ad platform anchored in three differentiated pillars: leadership in premium Asian content across major CTV and streaming platforms, a trusted bond with Asian communities in North America, and a growing footprint in global hotel TV networks. This role is the commercial engine of that platform.
About the Role
We are looking for a DSP Partnership Manager who will lead demand-side business development - forging and growing strategic relationships with North America's leading DSPs, agency platforms, and trading desks. This is a partnership-first role. You will own the GTM strategy and commercial relationships that determine how ODK Media's premium inventory competes in the programmatic ecosystem.
At the same time, you will bring genuine hands-on fluency in SSP operations and programmatic infrastructure - because the best partnership deals are built on operational credibility.
What You'll Own
1. Demand Partnerships - Primary Responsibility
Lead ODK Media's go-to-market strategy for demand-side partnerships across major North American DSPs, trading desks, and agency programmatic platforms.
  • Own and execute the GTM strategy for DSP and agency platform partnerships - from initial outreach through deal activation and long-term revenue growth
  • Identify, pitch, and negotiate strategic demand partnerships that unlock new revenue streams across CTV, streaming, and hotel TV inventory
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with programmatic buyers, DSP account teams, and agency trading desks across North America
  • Design and package deal structures across Open Auction, PMP, and Programmatic Guaranteed that align ODK Media's premium inventory with advertiser demand
  • Develop compelling inventory narratives that leverage ODK Media's Asian content leadership, community reach, and hotel TV network as differentiated value propositions
  • Navigate contracts, partnership terms, and data agreements with sound legal and commercial literacy
  • Build and manage a partnership pipeline with clear accountability - tracking deal status, revenue contribution, and strategic impact
  • Represent ODK Media at industry events and cultivate relationships within the broader ad tech and programmatic community

2. SSP Platform Operations - Hands-On Engagement
While partnerships are the primary mission, this role requires genuine hands-on fluency in SSP operations. You will engage directly with platform configurations and demand connections - ensuring that what you sell is backed by operational excellence.
  • Manage and optimize SSP connections - configuring demand partner integrations, floor price strategies, and auction settings
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues across fill rate, CPM, bid density, and latency in collaboration with engineering and ad ops teams
  • Oversee ad server configuration and SSAI integrations relevant to CTV and hotel TV ad delivery
  • Optimize ad request signals - identity, contextual, and device-level data - to maximize bid competition from demand partners
  • Serve as the technical bridge between demand partners and internal engineering teams on integration and onboarding requirements

3. Platform & Inventory Strategy
  • Shape ODK Media's positioning as a credible premium CTV and hotel TV supply partner in the North American programmatic ecosystem
  • Collaborate with product and content teams to develop ad products and deal packages aligned with ODK Media's unique audience and cultural context
  • Identify whitespace in the market where ODK Media's Asian community reach and hotel TV network represent differentiated value for advertisers
  • Contribute to the long-term vision of building a competitive full-stack ad platform - from supply to demand

Requirements
What We're Looking For
Experience
  • 5+ years experience in programmatic advertising - DSP, SSP, or publisher-side

Partnerships
  • Proven track record closing and growing demand-side partnerships

Ad Tech Depth
  • Strong grasp of auction mechanics, ad serving, SSP/DSP dynamics, and programmatic transaction flows

Commercial Acumen
  • Comfortable with deal terms, data agreements, and contract negotiation

CTV / SSAI
  • Experience with CTV monetization, FAST channels, or hotel TV environments - a strong plus

Network
  • Established relationships with North American DSPs, agencies, or trading desks
  • Hands-on experience with header bidding, Prebid, or server-side auction setups
  • Ability to engage directly with engineers on technical integration and infrastructure requirements
  • Strong communication skills - able to build trust with external partners and internal stakeholders alike
  • Highly proactive mindset - someone who identifies opportunities and drives them to close without waiting to be directed

What Makes You Stand Out
  • Deep familiarity with how major North American DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, Xandr, etc.) evaluate and activate supply partnerships
  • Experience building or scaling supply strategy from the publisher or platform side
  • Track record of closing PMP or Programmatic Guaranteed deals with major agencies or brands
  • Clear perspective on how publishers should position themselves in the evolving programmatic ecosystem
  • Experience in multicultural media, FAST, or niche CTV - understanding of community-driven audience value

Why This Role Matters
This is not a maintenance role. You will directly shape how ODK Media competes in the programmatic ecosystem - building the demand relationships and platform credibility that transform ODK Media into a recognized, premium ad platform.
ODK Media's inventory story is genuinely differentiated: a presence across major CTV and streaming platforms, premium Asian content trusted by communities across North America, and a growing hotel TV footprint reaching global audiences in premium environments. There are very few places where advertisers can reach these audiences at this scale.
If you want to own a monetization strategy - not just manage one - and build something meaningful in a market that is rapidly evolving, this is your opportunity.
