The Partnership department promotes the interests of the visitor industry and our partner organizations. 

JOB OVERVIEW

Under the supervision of the VP of Partnership and the Sr. Manager of Partnership, this position assists with the acquisition and onboarding of new partners, support of existing partners, Chicago Restaurant week 2027, monthly partner events and administrative duties. This is a seasonal position, August 2026 through April 2027.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with new partner outreach and onboarding
  • Heavily assists with Chicago Restaurant Week implementation (registration, onboarding, and support of participating restaurants, database updates, and more.)
  • Assist with monthly partner events
  • General support and retention of partners
  • Update partner data in CRM system
  • Perform other partnership related administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned

RELATED DUTIES

  • This position will work Monday-Friday
  • Ability to work up to 20 hours per week
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service or visitor service environment experience in the hospitality, tourism, retail or event planning industry
  • Junior or above in college preferred
  • Must have a strong knowledge of computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Google Docs and the use of the internet
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal, correspondence, personal/face-to-face and electronic means
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to present and communicate information in a friendly, welcoming manner in high-volume and sometimes difficult situations
  • Excellent phone etiquette
