Job Summary:
Partnership HealthPlan of California is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of IT projects. The role involves setting project management standards, managing project plans, and facilitating communication among various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Defines, documents and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan with IT and Business Units.
โ€ข Defines project scope and facilitates technical and operational requirements.
โ€ข Develops, tracks, and manages project plans and teams.
โ€ข Plans and conducts project kick-off meetings.
โ€ข Documents and Monitors project risks, assesses the impact of new or increased risks, and develops risk remediation or mitigation plans.
โ€ข Communicates status, issues, and risks to project stakeholders. Provides weekly status reports on the overall health of projects.
โ€ข Provides leadership to cross-functional project teams and maintains project documentation.
โ€ข Audits documentation to ensure completion and follows System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
โ€ข Communicates effectively with various key stakeholder groups
โ€ข Facilitates IT Steering Committee and IT CAB meetings.
โ€ข Participates in stakeholder meetings.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
โ€ข At least five (5) years of relevant experience.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office tools required.
โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills.
โ€ข Ability to interpret and communicate technical requirements to management, development teams, vendors, and system administrators.
โ€ข Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve system problems.
โ€ข Strong attention to detail; critical thinking/listening skills.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of IT best practices and the ability to assist in developing IT policies and procedures.
โ€ข Ability to facilitate meetings and work with both technical and non-technical resources.
Preferred:
โ€ข Project Management Professional (PMP) or Educational Class Based Project Certification preferred.
