Job description

Responsibilities
Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.

The Therapist provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Highlands Behavioral Health. The Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital. Shift specifics: Monday 8a-4p and other shifts as needed.

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field is required.
  • Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient group setting.
  • Provisional License, LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred
Additional Requirements: CPR certification within 30 days of employment and successful completion of training in Handle with Care. Certification training may be obtained during new hire orientation.
