Job description

Behavioral Health Community Liaison (Marketing and Business Development)

Company: Aviation ABA Therapy LLC

Location: South Salt Lake, UT (in-person, with field travel across Salt Lake County and into Davis, Weber, and Utah counties)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000 to $60,000 per year (base), plus uncapped bonus potential

About Aviation ABA Therapy

Aviation ABA Therapy is a Utah-based provider of in-home and clinic-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children with autism. We opened our South Salt Lake clinic in 2026 and we are growing fast. Our differentiators are simple and real: a 3 to 4 week start time, full insurance verification handled for families, and both in-home and clinic-based options. We are looking for a Behavioral Health Community Liaison who can take that story to the referral community and turn relationships into client starts.

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Community Liaison is the face of Aviation ABA in the field. This is a hybrid business development and marketing role responsible for building referral relationships with pediatricians, diagnosticians, schools, early intervention programs, pediatric specialists, and family-facing organizations. The role is focused primarily on Salt Lake County, with outreach extending into Davis, Weber, and Utah counties. As our Community Liaison, you will own outreach, education, and brand presence in the community, and you will work closely with our intake and clinical teams to keep the referral pipeline full. This is the right role for a relationship-driven Business Development professional who also has hands-on Marketing Specialist instincts.

Behavioral health marketing experience is required for this position. We are specifically seeking a candidate who has marketed ABA, autism, mental health, pediatric therapy, or related behavioral health services and understands how referrals move in this space.

What You Will Do
  • Build and maintain referral relationships with pediatricians, psychologists, diagnostic centers, schools, pediatricians' offices, and early intervention programs.

  • Plan and execute field outreach: in-person visits, lunch-and-learns, open houses, and community events.

  • Represent Aviation ABA at conferences, resource fairs, and provider meetings.

  • Develop and deliver marketing materials, presentations, and digital content that explain our services to referral sources and families.

  • Track outreach activity, referral volume, and conversion in our CRM, and report results weekly.

  • Partner with the intake and clinical teams to ensure a smooth handoff from referral to first appointment.

  • Identify new referral channels and business development opportunities throughout Salt Lake County, and into Davis, Weber, and Utah counties.

  • Support Spanish-language and multicultural outreach where applicable.

Required Qualifications
  • Behavioral health marketing experience is mandatory. You must have prior marketing, outreach, or business development experience within ABA, autism services, mental health, behavioral health, or pediatric therapy.

  • 2+ years in a community liaison, business development, marketing specialist, outreach, or healthcare sales role.

  • A proven track record of building referral relationships and growing a pipeline.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Comfort with field-based work and regular local travel.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid Utah driver's license.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools and standard marketing software.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Existing relationships with pediatricians, diagnosticians, or schools in the Salt Lake area.

  • Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial insurance in the ABA or behavioral health context.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary of $45,000 to $60,000, commensurate with behavioral health marketing experience.

  • Uncapped referral bonuses tied to new client starts, with strong earning potential for a true relationship builder.

  • Mileage reimbursement for field travel across all coverage counties.

  • Paid time off.

  • A high-impact role with real ownership and direct visibility to leadership at a growing company.

Why This Role

As our Community Liaison, you are not one cog in a large machine. You are the person who carries Aviation ABA into the community and directly shapes how many families we are able to help. If you have behavioral health marketing experience and you love being out in the field building relationships, this Behavioral Health Community Liaison role is built for you.
