Senior Associate, Horizontal HR Business Partner
The Strategy & Solutions Delivery Team is hiring a Senior Associate, Horizontal Delivery to support the new Global Payments Human Resource Business Partner team. The Senior Associate plays a critical role in leading and executing core Human Resources processes and keeping a continuous feedback loop with their clients for process improvements and efficiencies, along with planning, monitoring and coordinating logistics for a number of processes, such as talent management and performance management activities.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Analyze and report on talent data for HR Business Partners and their respective client groups (inclusive of building custom data reports as needed) to advance overall talent strategies
  • Manage process communications and create or share templates for local core HR process communications
  • Support client-facing HR Business Partners and the specific teams they support with general inquiries and requests (such as updating remote work arrangements, compensation, promotion and/or large scale org changes in Workday or via the HR Help Center)
  • Lead meetings such as weekly Horizontal Delivery meetings, monthly partner meetings, and Performance Management Champion community meetings
  • Partner with Talent and Performance Management Champions to design and execute the annual talent and performance calendar of activities
  • Develop walk-around decks, communications, and training materials to be used in preparing managers and associates; may include facilitator or "train the trainer" sessions
  • Prepare consolidated summaries for business leaders to describe outcomes of talent conversations
  • Review survey data and partner with HR Business Partners to develop insights and summaries
  • Manage project work-streams and/or small-scale projects in support of team goals or business needs
  • Design and maintain HR calendar of activities and deliverables for clients and HR Business Partners
  • Provide feedback to help drive continuous improvement of these programs
  • Ensure alignment with other HR Business Partner teams & Horizontal Delivery teammates
  • Lead HRBPs through Discover integration onto Capital One systems & processes, as it relates to Human Resources

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in human resources
  • At least 1 year of client facing experience or consulting experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in project or process management

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Human Resources Certification or Project Management Professional Certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Associate, HR Business Partner
Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Associate, HR Business Partner
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
