Job description

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving branch revenue growth through proactive sales, strategic account management, and exceptional client service. This role focuses on building long-term client relationships, managing existing accounts, and developing new business opportunities for Valcourt’s commercial window cleaning and exterior maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution of any service issues, complaints, or requests.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with both existing and prospective clients. Upsell and cross-sell additional services to maximize account potential.
  • Proposal & RFP Management: Prepare and manage proposals, bids, and RFP responses for annual service contracts and one-time project work.
  • Client Relationship Development: Build and strengthen client relationships through regular communication, site visits, meetings, and participation in industry events and client functions.
  • Collaboration with Operations: Partner with the operations team to ensure smooth job execution, clear communication of scopes, and fulfillment of client expectations.
  • Market Development: Participate in networking and association events to promote Valcourt’s services and expand the company’s client base.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in sales, account management, or a client-facing role with a track record of success.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with a competitive drive and an outgoing personality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
