Hours: Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week
About the Position
PostNet is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Part-Time Customer Service Associate to join our team at our Houston location near FM 1960 and Aldine Westfield Road.
This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same. You'll assist customers at the counter, process shipments, produce print orders, and receive and sort mail and packages for our private mailbox customers.
Most weekday shifts are 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Saturday availability from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM is preferred but not required.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, pays attention to details, and likes staying busy. Previous shipping or print experience is helpful but not required. We provide training on our systems, equipment, and services.
What You Will Do
  • Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
  • Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL
  • Help customers select shipping options based on cost, speed, and service needs
  • Package customer items for safe shipment
  • Produce customer print orders accurately and on time
  • Operate digital printing, copying, scanning, and finishing equipment
  • Review customer files and perform basic file preparation for printing
  • Assist with cutting, binding, laminating, and other print finishing
  • Provide quotes and recommend appropriate print and shipping solutions
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Maintain accurate private mailbox and package records
  • Assist mailbox customers with mail and package pickups
  • Accept prepaid package drop-offs
  • Process customer transactions and payments
  • Answer phones and respond to customer questions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Print or Adobe experience is a plus but not required. We are ready to train the right candidate.

Schedule
  • Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week
  • Weekday shifts primarily 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • Saturday hours are 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Saturday availability is preferred but not required
  • Additional hours may occasionally be available
Compensation
$15.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Candidates with prior experience in print production, Adobe, shipping, retail, or related customer service may qualify for a higher starting rate.
