LTL Logistics Coordinator


Job Summary

We are seeking an LTL Logistics Coordinator to coordinate less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments. This position is responsible for scheduling pickups and deliveries, obtaining freight quotes, selecting carriers, preparing shipping documentation, tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound LTL shipments.
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries with LTL carriers.
  • Obtain freight quotes and select carriers based on cost and transit time.
  • Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping documents, and freight paperwork.
  • Track shipments and resolve delivery issues and damage claims.
  • Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP systems, and shipping software.
  • Communicate with warehouses, customers, and carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Apply knowledge of NMFC freight classifications, weight, dimensions, and freight rates.
