Job description

About the Position

The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Group Sales Assistant to provide outstanding customer service throughout the season. In this role, you will assist during Warriors games and Chase Center events with our Group Fan Experience Programs, staffing special events initiatives, delivering quality service, and having positive interactions with our fans, clients, and groups. This position may include daily office hours to assist with drafting sales and marketing collateral, processing individual ticket orders, compiling event schedules, servicing group ticket buyers, and additional administrative needs. This position reports to the Manager, Group Sales.

This is a part-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with facilitating Fan Experience Programs (e.g., Primetime, Halftime, Fan Tunnel, Anthem Buddies, Courtside Shoot Around, etc.)
  • Support organization and arena staff, creating a fun environment
  • Assist Warriors Group Sales staff with special events nights including set up and breakdown of events, staffing giveaway tables, vendor load-in/out, etc.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
  • Assist with creating shareable marketing collateral and other administrative needs
  • Sell group tickets through Archtics ticket platform to individual buyers and assist with service-related matters
  • Work in tandem with account executives to collect client performance information and details for game day execution
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 1 year of face-to-face customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge in creating marketing pieces and content, experience in Photoshop, etc. preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and resolution skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have reliable transportation to the arena
Physical Demands
  • Ability to push/pull/carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to sit/turn/ bend/ stand for long periods of time, including frequent stair climbing
  • Comfortable working in loud environments with large crowds
Time Commitment
  • Committed to work majority of Warriors home games and select Chase Center events (including weeknights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Ability to work in office three (3) days per week if necessary
Compensation
  • $19.61 per hour
