Guest Service Agent

Hilton Long Island/Huntington is seeking friendly, polished and service-focused Guest Service Agents to join our Front Office team.

As a Guest Service Agent, you will often be the first and last person our guests interact with. You will welcome guests, manage arrivals and departures, answer questions, resolve concerns and help create a smooth, enjoyable hotel experience.

The ideal candidate is warm, dependable and comfortable working in a busy hotel environment. Previous hotel experience is helpful, but we are also willing to train candidates who bring strong customer-service skills and a genuine interest in hospitality.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome guests with a friendly, professional and helpful approach.
  • Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify reservations, identification, payment methods and room assignments.
  • Recognize Hilton Honors members and provide applicable benefits.
  • Answer questions about the hotel, amenities, services and surrounding area.
  • Respond to guest requests and coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and other departments.
  • Handle telephone calls, messages, reservations and general inquiries.
  • Process payments, deposits and adjustments in accordance with hotel procedures.
  • Maintain accurate guest accounts and protect confidential information.
  • Resolve routine guest concerns and involve a manager when additional assistance is needed.
  • Communicate special requests, VIP arrivals, accessibility needs and service issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and professional Front Desk and lobby environment.
  • Review shift information, hotel activity, group arrivals and special events.
  • Complete shift reports, logs and required documentation.
  • Follow all safety, security, emergency and cash-handling procedures.
  • Perform other Front Office and guest-service duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine desire to provide excellent guest service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized and courteous during busy periods.
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel systems.
  • Previous hotel, customer-service, retail or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Hilton or other major-brand hotel experience is a plus but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of the position.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays based on hotel needs.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly compensation
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance for eligible employees
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees
  • Employee assistance program
  • Hilton team-member travel discounts
  • Training and professional-development opportunities
  • Career growth across the Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions portfolio

If you enjoy helping people and want to build your hospitality career with a full-service Hilton hotel, we invite you to apply.
