About

Join a talented team of individuals who serve this country by caring for our Nationโ€™s heroes! Clay Consulting is looking to hire Psychologists to perform one-time, in-person, Behavioral Health Examinations for veterans and active-duty military personnel. This is a part-time (24hrs/week) position.

Summary

At Clay Consulting you will apply your expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of psychological health conditions. As a disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record reviews, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations. You develop a medical opinion of the likelihood that the Veteranโ€™s condition is related to their military service. The timely and expert examination assures that a Veteranโ€™s claim is heard and dutifully processed by VBA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct biopsychosocial exam of claimant
  • Conducts psychological, developmental, and cognitive-deficit assessments including but not limited to test administration and interpretation.
  • Prepares intake summaries and case summaries; maintains confidential records.
  • Charts claimantsโ€™ treatment and progress in accordance with state, federal, and facility regulations and guidelines and in keeping with accepted community standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctorate Degree in Psychology (Ph.D, PsyD)
  • Graduate of an APA accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted psychologist license in state
  • Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation
