Job Overview:

Responsible for executing daily functions and projects which involves all materials in the warehouse. Ensures material movements, transfers, and distribution is performed in an efficient and accurate manner. Takes precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss. Retains and reviews warehouse documents and reports. Completes miscellaneous support functions and supports area personnel as required.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Complete & document daily forklift inspections.
  • Move material to/from stock to manufacturing lines using a RF Gun.
  • Accurately transact all material movements real time into WMS.
  • Shrink wrap and stage in the appropriate area.
  • Accurately count material returning to stock, attach a “COUNTED” sticker with updated quantity, initial and date.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout building including pallet organization, emptying of dumpsters and loading of recyclable material into dunnage trailer.
  • Be in constant communication with other team members and leadership to understand their needs and status of current and future jobs.
  • Movement of inventory and non-inventory pallets to ensure efficient operations.
  • Perform accurate Cycle Counts and any requested counts.

You’re a Great Fit if You:

  • Proficient with data entry into an WMS system.
  • Experience in a 3PL Warehousing or Crossdock facility is a plus.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform all tasks while continuously standing.
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately while ensuring quality.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years’ experience in material handling in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certified (or eligible).

Physical Requirements and Shifts

  • Extended periods of standing.
  • Frequently moves items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Open Monday to Saturday - Build your own schedule!
  • Part Time Availability (0hr - 30hr/ week)
  • Warehouse Location - Romeoville, IL
