Job Description

  • Represent lenders, capital providers, and borrowers in complex real estate finance transactions
  • Draft and negotiate loan documents for construction, mezzanine, preferred equity, and structured financings
  • Work on multi-tiered capital transactions and debt-like and equity investments
  • Advise on distressed commercial real estate matters from a transactional perspective
  • Collaborate closely with partners and clients throughout the full transaction lifecycle

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of real estate finance transactional experience
  • Experience with construction financing and complex capital structures
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent academic credentials and attention to detail
  • Active bar license in the state of the office location
  • Experience on lender-side, borrower-side, or a blend of both is acceptable
