Chief System of Systems Integrator
The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact on U.S. Space Force capabilities for the war fighter? You understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
As an engineer on our team, you'll work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to develop, rapidly deploy, and integrate the next generation of resilient space, ground, and user capabilities across the space enterprise to deter attacks and provide critical information to our war fighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will t rus t you to not only architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy these systems, but also identify areas requiring urgent mitigation up-front and early to develop this system with advanced technology solutions. You will perform systems engineering leadership and program management in support of enterprise reviews and governance boards, as well as analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate executive leaders and stakeholders to implement recommended solutions. You Have:
  • 18+ years of experience in defense systems engineering and development
  • 5+ years of experience serving in a systems engineering leadership role for a large-scale space system of systems
  • Experience using Micro sof t Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience working within the DoD acquisition system
  • Knowledge of Department of War acquisition systems, life-cycle planning, program management and key program milestones
  • Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
  • Ability to be comfortable with daily interactions at the executive leadership level
  • Ability to drive organizational change with limited authority
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with military space, C4ISR, or battle management systems
  • Experience working within the DoD acquisition system
  • Experience practicing MBSE
  • Experience in Agile planning and systems development
  • Knowledge of Space Force systems and war fighting missions
  • Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in a STEM or Space field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
