Belmont Park is a major thoroughbred horse racing facility located in Queens, NY. Originally built in 1805, Belmont Park is operated by New York Racing Association alongside several partners including Levy. Attracting thousands of guests every season, Belmont Park will host world class events such as the 2027 Belmont Stakes and the 2027 Breeders Cup.

  • Taking the train? Exit at the Aqueduct–North Conduit Avenue station onto North Conduit Avenue. Walk east
    toward Cohancy Street, turn left onto the sidewalk, and continue past the stable gates and across the outdoor
    parking lot to the main building

Job Summary

Position Summary

Provide the first level of on-the-floor leadership for premium food and beverage operations. This is a hands-on position focused on service execution, team coaching, guest recovery, and maintaining Levy/NYRA standards throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead day-to-day service execution and coach servers, runners, bussers, and bartenders through pre-shift and live service.

· Monitor guest experience in the space, address concerns quickly, and escalate to management when needed.

· Verify compliance with Levy standards, policies, and safety/sanitation requirements; sign off on cleaning procedures as assigned.

· Support check-in/check-out, break tracking, and attendance reporting (late, no-call/no-show, leave-early requests).

· Maintain product readiness: monitor stock levels, request replenishment, and ensure proper storage and organization.

· Track and report breakage/spoilage (glassware, plates, product) and support inventory processes, including periodic counts.

· Coordinate with BOH/culinary leadership to align timing, presentation, and quantities with operational needs and BEOs when applicable.

· Complete event recap/paperwork and communicate key notes to leadership after service.

· Perform other duties as assigned.
