The Department Secretary is responsible for providing and coordinating office and organizational responsibilities necessary for the operation and support of the medical staff/providers and department leadership. The secretary works as part of a team and frequently acts as a liaison between department staff and internal/external customers.

What's Available:

  • 20 hours weekly (.5 FTE), Part-time

  • Shift: Monday-Friday, Days (no weekends)

  • Hours: Rotating between 7:30am - 5:00 pm (varies based on department needs, no set schedule)

  • Department: Cancer Center (Radiation Oncology, Medical/Hematology Oncology, Infusion Services and Palliative Care)

  • Location: Fully on-site, La Crosse

What you need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency

  • 2 years of clerical/secretarial experience OR recent graduate of a formal clerical/secretarial training 2-year program required

  • Healthcare or administrative/office training strongly preferred
