Job Summary

As a Process Operator II at McKee Foods, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of manufacturing equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting equipment issues. You will work closely with team members to maintain high standards of product quality and adhere to safety regulations.

  • Makes mixes in the area of brew, dough, forming, proofing, frying, and glazing the product to ensure that they are made correctly
  • The make-up table, fryer, and proofer
  • Accurately following formulas
  • Keeps an accurate maintenance of inventory
  • Maintains accurate documentation of lot numbers and strainer checks
  • Moderates equipment set-up and maintenance
  • Responsible for keeping work area and equipment clean and orderly and keeps waste to a minimum
  • Documents production reports and enters measurement data and analyzes that information
  • Performs other duties as needed

Required Qualification

  • Must be able to obtain a LTO license
  • Willingness to be flexible and perform tasks and functions as needed
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and ability to work without direct supervision
  • Basic math skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and be organized

  • OPM, HP 9000 and PC experience
  • Mixing/Depositor/Oven/Cutter/Cremer Capper and Creme Operator experience

  • Experience with yeast dough, making brew, yeast dough make-up tables, proofers, and steam kettle mixers
