Palm Beach Zoo is looking for a dedicated and observantZoo Ranger to join our Safety and Security team for the part time overnight shift. In this important role, you'll help protect our animals, guests, and staff by ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment-day and night. This is more than a security job-it's an opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization working to protect wildlife and inspire action.

What You'll Do:

  • Patrol zoo grounds and facilities to monitor guest conduct, property safety, and animal area security.
  • Respond to incidents, accidents, and medical situations with calm professionalism.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and manage detailed safety reports.
  • Assist with access control and monitor restricted areas overnight.
  • Check animal enclosures for potential safety issues (without entering staff-only animal care areas).
