Job description

NORTH AMERICAN KELP โ€” We're Hiring!

Part-Time Packager / Warehouse Forklift Driver Waldoboro, Maine ยท Part-Time Flexible hoursย
About Us

North American Kelp is a growing company rooted in the coast of Maine. We harvest and process high-quality kelp products and take pride in our mission, our community, and the team that makes it all happen. We're looking for an upbeat, reliable team member to join us in our Waldoboro warehouse.
The Role

As a Part-Time Packager / Warehouse Forklift Driver, you'll play a hands-on role in our daily operations โ€” packaging kelp products, keeping the warehouse organized, and safely operating a forklift to move inventory. This is a great fit for someone who likes to stay active, takes pride in doing quality work, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
What You'll Do

  • Package and label kelp products accurately and efficiently according to company standards
  • Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking shipments
  • Perform quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals
  • Pitch in wherever needed โ€” no task is too small when you're part of a great team
What We're Looking For

  • A positive attitude and genuine eagerness to work hard
  • Dependable, punctual, and ready to show up with energy every shift
  • A team player who communicates well and supports coworkers
  • Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet throughout a shift
  • Previous warehouse, packaging, or forklift experience is a plus but not required โ€” we're happy to train the right person
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
