Housekeeper (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Golden Years Homestead | Greencroft Communities

Pay: $13.88–$17.73 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

As a Housekeeper, you'll help create a clean, comfortable, and safe home for our residents by:

  • Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing assigned areas.
  • Cleaning windows, mirrors, walls, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Emptying trash and disposing of waste according to safety guidelines.
  • Performing deep cleans and preparing rooms for new residents.
  • Restocking housekeeping supplies and keeping storage areas organized.
  • Following infection prevention, safety, and cleaning procedures.
  • Working closely with nursing and other departments to support resident care.
  • Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Helping maintain a welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Housekeeping or healthcare environmental services experience is helpful but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement. Team members should be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently, with or without reasonable accommodation.
