Manufacturing-Assembler

Builders First Source โ€“ DePere WI

Description

To assemble components for commercial and residential construction, according to established guidelines. Maintain company quality standards. Full time and Part time shifts, with flexible hours. First and second shift positions, with shift premiums. Equal Opportunity employer.

Duties and Responsibilities

ยทFollow technical instructions, Interpret designer drawings and technical terms.

ยทMaintain the motorized and non-motorized tools used to create products.

ยทKeep a clean and well-maintained work area.

ยทRecognize parts and materials used in production.

ยทMust be capable of handling Wisconsin weather where it can be -10 one day and 70 the next day.

ยทInspect finished products for flaws and defects.

ยทUnderstands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers: attends periodic safety meetings as required.

ยทRespond attentively to training from foreman, or more senior handlers in order to increase own knowledge of work processes.
